New Hampshire and New York rock. Fall could be the best time of year in New England. Come to Cannon Cliff in Franconia and do the classic Whitney-Gilman Ridge, Moby Grape, or VMC Direct Direct! Or explore Cathedral and Whitehorse, learn to lead at Rumney, or venture as far east as Bar Harbor for some amazing sea cliff climbing. For those living closer to New York, meet Silas in the Gunk’s for some steep rock! The Shwangunk range is some of the best climbing in the entire East Coast and it’s only a 1.5 hour bus ride from Penn Station in Manhattan!

Winter 2011/2012
Ice climbing and avalanche training courses in New Hampshire and Maine. Take your skills to the next level! Whether you want to summit Mt. Washington, learn avalanche science, become a ski mountaineer, or learn to lead ice, NH has the perfect terrain for your adventure. Explore the remote and rugged Katahdin for some true alpine climbing and skiing.

Climb the Grand Teton! July and August is prime time to climb in the Tetons. Pick your adventure – Mt Moran (including paddling across 2 lakes!), Teewinot or a Cathedral Traverse or Grand Traverse over 2 or 3 days.
