A hands-on wilderness navigation clinic, right in the heart of Manhattan. Led by IFMGA licensed mountain guide, Silas Rossi.

Location: Shetler Studios @ 9 am – located at 244 West 54th Street (between Broadway and 8th Avenue). Room 1210 on the 12th floor. We will be inside until 1pm, followed by afternoon practice in Central Park.
Clothing: Come prepared to be outside for the entire afternoon. We will be on foot in the park.
Required Gear: notebook and pencil.
Recommended Gear: Any compass, altimeter, GPS, rite-in-the-rain notebook, mechanical pencils, you might have.
Food / water: Please bring snacks and water. Lunch is on your own – bring a bag lunch or grab something in the city.
